The Kanomax Microbial Air Sampler (3080 / 3081 Series) delivers precise, reliable sampling of microbial contamination using inertial impaction—making it a powerful tool for validation, monitoring, and compliance testing under ISO 14698‑1 protocols.

The Kanomax Microbial Air Sampler is engineered to draw air at a stable 100 L/min flow rate with ±2.5 % accuracy.

Its sampling head (constructed from SUS316 stainless steel) is designed to direct airborne microorganisms onto culture media (Petri dishes or contact plates), enabling accurate growth-based quantification.

With the 3080 model, an internal exhaust filter (ISO Class 3) ensures that sampled air is safely contained, reducing risks of cross‑contamination.

Smart Operation, Data Control & Remote Functionality

Operating the device is intuitive via a 4.3‑inch color touch screen, which displays sampling time and volume and supports multi‑language options (English, Chinese, Japanese).

Administrative settings enable secure user access with password protection and role-based controls to safeguard critical data.

The sampler supports USB and RS‑485 communications for data export or integration with building systems.

Additionally, a remote controller allows operation (start, pause, stop) from outside the clean area—useful for managing sampling without disturbing the environment.

Internally, up to 10,000 measurement records can be stored in CSV format for later retrieval and reporting.

Flexible Sampling Modes & Culture Compatibility

The device supports both single sampling and repeat (multi‑cycle) sampling modes, with cycle counts from 2 to 300 or continuous operation.

Users can set sampling volume from 20 to 6,000 L and control intervals between cycles from 10 seconds to 1 hour.

Compatible culture media formats include Petri dishes (90–100 mm OD) and contact plates (55–84 mm OD).

Power, Portability & Environmental Specs

The sampler runs on an internal lithium-ion battery or external AC adapter (100–240 V), delivering up to 7 hours of continuous battery operation (with a recharge time of 2–3 hours).

Its operational environment ranges from 0 to 40 °C and 0 to 90% relative humidity (non-condensing).

With dimensions of 136 mm × 235 mm × 133 mm, the 3080 model weighs approximately 3.2 kg, while the 3081 is slightly lighter at 3.0 kg.
