Elevate Your Battery Testing
With EA Battery Simulator for Bidirectional Power Supplies
Advanced Battery Simulation with EA-PSB 10000 Series and EA Battery Simulator Software
Intuitive Battery Simulation with EA Battery Simulator EA Battery Simulator (EABS) is a specialized Windows software designed to control and simulate bidirectional devices from the EA-PSB 10000 series. These bidirectional power supplies are crucial for simulating both energy sourcing and sinking, making them indispensable for battery testing scenarios.
Versatile Battery Profiles and Research-Backed Libraries The software offers the capability to simulate various battery types, such as lead-acid and lithium-ion, by mimicking their electrical and chemical behaviors during charging and discharging cycles. Developed in collaboration with the esteemed Fraunhofer Institute, EABS utilizes a comprehensive set of value tables and parameter libraries. Users can customize switchable battery profiles to define essential parameters like battery capacity, internal resistance, and state of charge (SOC), as well as test conditions like ambient temperature.
Automated Control and Data Logging The actual simulation is executed by the programmable power supply, which is automatically controlled by the EABS software during test runs. Users have the option to activate data recording, which can be logged to files and visually represented through on-screen color graphs.
Licensing and System Requirements This advanced simulation software is available as an optional add-on and requires a paid license dongle in USB stick form. To operate the dongle, a free USB port is necessary, and all required drivers and documentation are included in the package.
