High-Power Battery Testing with Regenerative Energy Recovery

The EA Elektro-Automatik BT 20000 4U Series is a high-performance battery testing system designed to meet the needs of modern energy applications. With regenerative energy recovery technology, it achieves up to 96% efficiency, significantly reducing energy costs and heat output during discharge operations. Its wide input voltage range (208–480 V, 3-phase) ensures compatibility with global power grids, while its flexible autoranging technology delivers consistent full-power operation across a broad range of voltage and current settings, from 0–2000 V and up to 1000 A.

Engineered for scalability and versatility, the BT 20000 4U Series allows up to 64 units to operate in parallel, providing up to 1920 kW and 64,000 A for large-scale testing environments. The system’s advanced Master-Slave and Share-Bus interfaces enable seamless load sharing and centralized monitoring, making it ideal for applications requiring high power and precision, such as battery module and pack testing or energy storage research. Integrated testing modes and battery simulation capabilities enhance its utility, enabling efficient state-of-health (SOH) checks, end-of-line (EOL) testing, and battery recycling processes.
